Laura
I came in scared of the barbell. Now I squat 185 and I am the one showing new people where the plates go.
We do not post shirtless photos. We track what you lift, how often you show up and what your life feels like. Here is what that looks like across the gym.

Set 02/03Our stance
Before and after photos sell memberships. They also teach people that the mirror is the scoreboard, and the mirror changes with lighting, water and how you slept.
A heavier deadlift is easy to check. So is showing up three times a week for a year. Those are the things we track and celebrate on the board.
If your goal is fat loss, we track that too: waist measurement, scale trend and how your clothes fit. Privately, between you and your coach.

My back went out every spring for a decade. Two years of slow, boring progress and it has not happened once.
Two kids, a full time job, 5:30am class three days a week. It is the only hour of the day nobody needs anything from me.
I did twelve sessions after shoulder surgery, then moved to classes. I pressed overhead again in month four.
I moved to Denver and kept my coach. Sam reviews my videos every Sunday and still catches my left knee drifting.
Foundations took the fear out of it. Four people, lots of reps, no one watching but the coach. I joined classes the week after.
